Why do Virgos have stomach issues? An astrologer explains

Medical astrology was believed until the 1700s, and physicians across Europe were legally required to calculate the position of the Moon before operating on someone. The link between the planets and health isn’t believed by medical professionals today, but there’s no harm in learning about your sign’s supposed health predispositions. So, why do Virgos have stomach issues? Express.co.uk chatted to astrologer Francesca Oddie (@francescaoddieastrology on Instagram) to find out.

Why do Virgos have stomach issues?

Not everyone born between August 23 and September 22 is bound to have stomach issues, but medical astrology says Virgos are more likely to have problems with their tummies.

Each sign rules a particular area or a few different areas of the body, and Virgo just so happens to rule the nervous system and gastrointestinal tract.

This includes the entire digestive system, such as the stomach and the intestines.

Another astrology site, Ganesha Speaks, suggests Virgos might have some food sensitivity and allergies.

The site reads: “You possess a delicate and fussy digestive and intestinal system.

“Hence, you tend to suffer from stomach ailments like acidity, heartburns, excess wind, and food allergies.

“Also, you suffer from indigestion, gas pains, ulcers, liver upsets, colitis, and bowel problems. You often face stomach issues when stressed.

“There are chances of developing ulcers if you continue to thrive on negative emotions and opinions.”
