Richard Jonathan, a Toronto resident, was detained on Sunday night. He is charged with two counts of first-degree murder.

Officers discovered five loaded weapons “on the floor next to him” after executing a search warrant for Edwin’s residence, he added.

Edwin had no prior criminal history and was in authorized possession of the firearms, according to Ramer.
