Former Home and Away star Samara Weaving has revealed what it was like working with acclaimed actress Nicole Kidman on Nine Perfect Strangers.
In a Q&A with fans for Prime Video, Samara, 29, also recalled the first moment she met Nicole, 54, on set.
Samara said she first met Nicole during a scene when they were both in character and said her ‘jaw hit the ground’ when she saw the Hollywood star.

‘I didn’t really have to act because my jaw hit the ground, and she floated,’ Samara said, with the characters all meeting up in the Tranquillum House in one opening scene.
‘It was really amazing – it was so good for the director to do that,’ Samara added.
Samara added that she wanted to ‘pinch herself’ working with Nicole and the rest of the star-studded cast, which includes Melissa McCarthy and Luke Evans.

She said how it was rather strange acting in some ‘crazy’ scenes in front of Nicole.
‘I did some really intense scenes with Nicole, like crying in front of her and then like, ”okay, well, now you’re friends”,’ she said.
On the show, Samara plays the character Jessica Chandler – a social media influencer obsessed with her appearance.
For the show, Samara recently admitted she wore fake teeth to make her lips look bigger and said how none of her co-stars recognised her in character on set for the first time, due to her dramatic transformation.

She told Digital Spy: ‘The first day of filming, when we did the camera tests, I had lots of fake tan and really long nails.’
‘I had wire pulling my face up to help give me that face lift kind of look, and fake teeth,’ she added.
Meanwhile, Nicole played resort director Masha in the show and previously joked that she was ‘bats**t crazy’ while filming.
On set, she wouldn’t even answer to her own name.
Joking she was ‘bats*** crazy’ – a line her character uses in the series – she explained during a TCA panel: ‘I’d only respond as Masha. I wanted a very calm healing energy to emanate all the time so I remember going over to people and sort of putting my hand on their heart, holding their hand, they would talk to me or use my name Nicole when I would completely ignore them.’
