Reese Witherspoon and Dakota Fanning are looking back at their time on the set of Sweet Home Alabama!

The 45-year-old Legally Blonde star shared a photo of the 2002 film to social media on Thursday (July 8).

She captioned a pic of her character, Melanie Carmichael, as she calls off her wedding to Patrick Dempsey‘s Andrew Hennings when she realizes she’s in love with her childhood sweetheart Jake Perry (Josh Lucas): “Do you remember what she said? #sweethomealabama #tbt.”

Dakota, who played the younger version of Melanie in the movie, commented the famous quote, “The truth is I gave my heart away a long time ago, my whole heart, and I never really got it back.”

“Love you, little Melanie,” Reese replied.

Two days ago, Josh Lucas shared that while he’d be open to doing a sequel to the rom-com, but said it may be difficult to find time to make the movie given Reese‘s busy schedule.
