Mark Gooch, a Wisconsin man convicted of murder, is detained at the Arizona State Prison Complex’s Eyman Browning Unit in Florence, Arizona.

The case’s most disturbing aspect is that Mark Gooch, the murderer, had no personal connection to Sasha Krause.

In January 2020, Gooch kidnapped Krause from her neighborhood near Farmington. He drove her through Arizona’s border states before dropping her off in a forest clearing outside Flagstaff.
