But with the students out of control, the faculty decides to take action against the kids by rebooting Gossip Girl for a new generation. With Gossip Girl ruling everyone via her traditional column (now in Instagram form), who knows what’ll happen next? Not us, that’s for sure. But we do, however, know when new episodes will drop. How many episodes are in the Gossip Girl reboot?
As of now, there are six episodes slated for HBO Max’s Gossip Girl reboot, with six more to follow. The first episode dropped today on the platform, but are new episodes dropping daily? Weekly? When, exactly, do new episodes hit the streamer? Keep reading.
Gossip Girl release schedule: when do new episodes premiere?
If you’ve already streamed the first episode of Gossip Girl and met the new Constance Billard icons, we know you’re ready for Episode 2. New episodes of Gossip Girl premiere Thursdays at 3:01 a.m. ET/12:01 a.m. PT. We’ll get new episodes of Gossip Girl weekly, so the release schedule is as follows:
- Episode 1, “Just Another Girl on the MTA”: July 8
- Episode 2, “She’s Having a Maybe”: July 15
- Episode 3, “Lies Wide Shut”: July 22
- Episode 4, “Fire Walks with Z”: July 29
- Episode 5, “Hope Sinks”: August 5
- Episode 6, “Parentsite”: August 12
The original Gossip Girl debuted upwards of 20 episodes per season on The CW, so is HBO Max really calling it quits at six episodes for the first season? Not quite.
Will there be a Part 2 of the Gossip Girl reboot?
Spotted: Part 2 of Gossip Girl, headed to HBO Max. That’s right, the first season doesn’t end after those first six episodes. In fact, that’s only half of the season. Season 1 will consist of 12 episodes, meaning six more will drop… Some time. HBO Max has yet to announce the release schedule for Part 2 of the first season.
Where can I watch Gossip Girl?
You can watch the Gossip Girl reboot on HBO Max, where the original Gossip Girl is also streaming. If you have access to any sort of HBO account, you have HBO Max. If you’ve subscribed to HBO through your cable provider, just enter your cable username and password into HBO Max’s site or app to start watching. And if what about if you subscribed to HBO NOW back in the day? NOW is now Max, so just use the same information to log in and get streaming.
