Teddy Ray was a comedian known for appearances on TV shows including “Wild ‘n Out” and “Pause with Sam Jay.”

Comedy career

Ray’s stand-up comedy began gaining a national audience when he appeared on “Comic View” on BET. He went on to perform his stand-up on shows including “Wild ‘n Out,” “HBO’s ALL Def Comedy,” and “Colossal Clusterfest.” Ray became a co-host of MTV’s comedy clip show “Messyness” and had guest roles on HBO’s “Pause with Sam Jay.” He had a voice role as Teddy on Comedy Central’s animated series “How to Be Broke.”
