RHONY Alum, Carole Radziwill, Slams Bravo for Using Past Footage of Her Without Paying Her, As She Calls for Housewives to “Unionize”

Bravo fans are aware there’s no love lost between Real Housewives of New York City alum, Carole Radziwill, and the NBCUniversal network following her departure from the franchise. However, in a recent tweet the former journalist is taking her resentment a step further calling out the show for using her in flashbacks.

After a twitter user tweeted Carole expressing their sadness at not seeing her on the show and “dying” that she has not been cast on any of the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip spin-offs but is thankful that she can still be seen in flashbacks, Carole wasted no time clapping back calling the show’s contracts “wack” and not even getting paid residuals for using footage of her.

“Thanks! Honestly, I don’t love that @BravoTV shows me in flashbacks & can still talk about me, rudely as the cast did in that awful RHONY season 13,” Carole tweeted.

“They use me and & now I’m not even getting paid for it! Lol. No residual payments. Reality contracts are seriously wack. Unionize ladies!” the author proclaimed.

This isn’t the first time Carole has been critical of Bravo and the show that made her famous. Carole previously called out former BFF and co-star Bethenny Frankel for having an inside relationship with producers and controlling the narrative of the show for her own personal gain.

This didn’t go unremembered by fans as one tweeted, “You seem to resent your time on housewives, but you frequently tweet about it. Not a judgment, but an observation.”

After her tweet, many fans called out Carole for not looking into her contracts before signing them as she is an experienced journalist who should have known what she was signing up for.

One user replied, “But to be clear, you are extremely educated, have lawyers to look at your contracts and you did sign their contract… correct? So regardless of how you feel about the way you’re portrayed, you, of sound mind and body, agreed to this?”

As another tweeted, “Perhaps you shouldn’t have signed it then if it is whack. You are smart and can afford an attorney to have checked it out.”

However, some fans backed up Carole criticizing Bravo making her out to be the “villain” of the show thus being the “catalyst” for leaving RHONY.

“I know Bethenny completely ganged up on you and bravo decided to use that as the catalyst to you being the villain that season. #justiceforcarole, one supporter advocated.

A second agreed tweeting, “The housewives still need to get paid for it! I would feel the same way. They are still doing reruns of Housewives that are no longer a housewife. Actors get paid. They need to unionize because Bravo is taking advantage of them.”

What are your thoughts on Carole’s recent statements? Is it time for her to let go of her Housewives obsession long after her expiration date?

The Real Housewives of New York City is currently on hiatus, while a spin-off entitled RHONY: Legacy is rumored to have been cast.
