The reality of life behind the scenes on a fashion photoshoot has been revealed in a video sweeping social media – and it’s a lot less glamorous than you might imagine.
The clip, uploaded to Instagram by Australian clothing website Beginning Boutique, captures a flustered model named Saskia hastily changing outfits in blustery conditions and cramped spaces.
She wriggles in and out of clothes in underground car parks, city alleyways and even the backseat of a moving car, all in pursuit of the perfect shot.
At one point Saskia is filmed standing on the side of a road with one hand over her chest, holding an open dress strategically in place to protect her modesty while she waits for a stylist to lace up the back.

The video, which is captioned ‘shoot life really be like’, has racked up 29,600 ‘likes’ and hundreds of amused responses since it was posted on Wednesday.
Many of the comments come from former models, with one girl tagging two friends and writing: ‘Oh my god, the MEMS!’
Another followed suit and said ‘this reminds me of us’.
The scenes also appeared to resonate with women still working in the fashion industry, with one tagging her catwalk colleague to say: ‘This is always us, every time.’

Others thanked the brand for being transparent and showing the real side of a day in the life of a model.
‘I love that you showed this! More candid and less weird posing videos,’ one viewer wrote.
‘And people think it’s a glamorous life,’ added a second, while a third joked: ‘I feel like anyone who went to girl scout camp would kill it at these shoots.’
After some blasted the brand for failing to provide tents for models to change in, a spokesperson confirmed that tents are used and the production team were just ‘having a bit of fun with Saskia’ on the shoot.
